2nd Doc Found for Marbleton/Big Piney Clinic
Dr. Judy Boyle reports January 15
by Rob Shaul

The recruitment committee in Big Piney has successfully found a second doctor to serve patients out of the Marbleton/Big Piney Clinic. According to the Marbleton Clinic contracting physician, Dr. David Burnett, the new physician, Dr. Judy Boyle, will report for duty on January 15th. Dr. Boyle signed a contract to serve at the clinic last Saturday.

Tribute to Committee

Dr. Boyle's recruitment is a tribute to the recruitment committee consisting of Health Care Board Members John Linn and Jim Greenwood, and south-county physicians Dr. Burnett and Dr. Bill Close.

A commitment on part of the Rural Health Care District Board to recruit a second doctor was the one stipulation Dr. Burnett had for returning to the Marbleton clinic after running his own private practice for two years out of the Big Piney High School Annex. Many observers felt it would be difficult, to say the least, to recruit a second doctor for Marbleton. The recruitment committee's success in finding and hiring Dr. Boyle is a tribute to their salesmanship.

Dr. Boyle is board certified in pediatrics and internal medicine. She is currently covering for an internist in Jackson, but is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Boyle has been practicing medicine for over fifteen years, is married, and has two children, says Dr. Burnett. She plans on moving her family to Sublette County sometime in the near future.

Dr. Burnett describes Dr. Boyle as a "well experienced, high caliber physician," who will compliment his own expertise well.
