The Sublette County Journal Volume 5, Number 21 - 1/18/01 brought to you online by Pinedale Online Journal Named "Official County Newspaper" The Sublette County Journal has been designated the "official county newspaper" for 2001. At their meeting this Tuesday, County Commissioners Betty Fear, Gordon Johnston and Bill Cramer accepted a $1.75 per column inch bid from the Journal for the county's legal ads. The Pinedale Roundup bid $3.00 per column inch. The Journal was first awarded the legal ads and named official county newspaper last July. Prior to 2000, the Roundup had been the official county newspaper for thirty three years in a row since 1967. < See The Archives for past articles.
