Green River Couple Buys Wrangler Cafe

by Rob Shaul & Joyce Bohm

The popular Wrangler Cafe in Pinedale has been purchased by Johnny and Tina Mulinix from Green River.

Mr. Mulinix's first career was with the school district in Green River. His wife Tina comes to the Wrangler after working 28 years at City Market in Rock Springs. Tina spent 20 of those years as a manager of the grocery store.

The Mulinixes purchased the cafe from George and Sheila Palmer, who have owned the Wrangler for the past 12 years.

George plans to go sailing for a week, and then he'll go back to work for Mike Krcil Carpentry.

Not Sheila. Mrs. Palmer says she's going to enjoy some well-deserved quiet time and stay home "to make quilts."

The Wrangler Cafe has been a Pinedale institution for decades.
New owners Johnny and Tina say they plan on keeping "everything the same" at the cafe. <
